The best wood fired pizza in town – hands down. The place is bustling and has two rooms. The back room has a small bar that you can sit and eat at and a few tables, some for sharing. The front room has a long communal table plus a number of four ad two tops. The pizza is made right there in the center of the room in a huge wood fired oven. Crispy, thin crusted with wonderful toppings such as lamb sausage with kale and fennel sausage with roasted peppers and provolone. There are also a number of delicious salads, soups and desserts but we have never had any room for more than the pizza. Better than homemade with the high temperature of the wood fired stove, and the liberal use of kosher salt and quality ingredients. We have had all the pizzas there and they have all been perfect as well as their kale salad, beet salad and radicchio, also, all very delicious and spot on with the portions and dressings.
I make pizza all the time but there is nothing like the wood fired high heat cooking you get with an oven like theirs.
